Spanish Wikipedia, and everything else I find via Google, says rosquillas are doughnuts.
ReplyDeleteI´m from Murcia. We call this breadsticks rosquillas, I know that in many countries in south América rosquillas are the doughnuts... Spanish language is crazy, depending on the area we name differently to similar things. Try to cook "Marineras", you´ll be impressed. http://yourspanishrecipes.blogspot.com.es/2013/09/marineras-sailors.html
