How to eat raw garlic and not have bad breath

PREVENTION

  1. Select fresh garlic, a heavy one for its size. Juicier garlic is also softer, and will have less effect on your breath.
  2. Cut the garlic cloves in half with a knife. Remove the thin green stems may be starting to sprout, since its flavor and aroma are particularly hard and sharp.
  3. Rinse the chopped garlic with cold water to wash a part of the sulfur compounds that give it its flavor.
  4. Chop a handful of fresh parsley and garlic. Chlorophyll helps to reduce the impact of garlic.
